The National Trust commissioned Chris Burnett Associates to carry out a historic designed landscape survey of the Wray Castle Estate. Building on considerable research work previously undertaken by National Trust staff and in conjunction with a parallel architectural investigation of Wray Castle itself, the study provided a comprehensive assessment of the surrounding designed landscape, its significance and extent, and put forward recommendations for its future management.
